Corrections, disputes, and removals policy

Malaysia SEO Agency Guide is an independent directory of SEO businesses across Malaysia. We build listings from publicly available information and score every agency against the same published rubric, applied equally to all. Scores are calculated from public Google reviews using this rubric, never by hand or favoritism. Being listed here is free. No payment changes your score or position in the directory. This page explains how to fix factual errors, challenge a score if the data behind it is wrong, or request removal. The full rubric is published under how we rank.

Fixing factual details

We correct fields like your business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, or services when you provide the correct value and verification for it. Verification can be your official website, your Google Business Profile, or another authoritative source. Once corrected, the information persists even when we refresh the directory data. Submit the correction clearly, stating the current value and the replacement, with your verification source.

Challenging a score

A dispute is not a request for a higher score. It is a claim that the data we used to calculate your score is factually wrong. That might mean your profile matched the wrong business, reviews were attributed to you that belong elsewhere, or the summary we generated misstates what reviewers actually wrote. If you believe any of these happened, flag it. We re-check the source data and rebuild your listing. We do not hand-edit scores.

Requesting removal

We remove listings when the business is permanently closed, the listing is a duplicate, or the agency falls outside Malaysia SEO Agency Guide's scope. If your business is open and active and you are an SEO agency, your accurate listing stays. We verify closure status monthly, so closed businesses are caught automatically. If you request removal and we decline, we will explain why plainly.

How quickly we respond

Every request gets a reply within 5 business days. Removals we approve are completed within 7 days. If we decline your request, we tell you the reason.
